For the average lawn a weekly cutting is recommended as the more often you cut your lawn the healthier it will be. In the hot months we raise the mower up slightly top help ensure it stays green. We mulch mow to keep your lawn healthy as the grass clippings decompose over time and become fertilizer. If the grass is too long for mulching we use bagger attachments and dispose of the clippings.

With every visit we mow in alternating patterns where we can. The entire perimeter of the lawn is edge trimmed. After we are finished mowing & trimming we use blowers to clean up the clippings from all driveways, sidewalks and walkways.

For our weekly residential clients we offer free bagging service when needed.

​With our commercial grade equipment your property will be well manicured and our experienced staff will keep the mowing time down to a minimum while keeping highest of standards in mind. We can include edge trimming around any buildings and anywhere else it is required.

For properties with areas that have long overgrown grass we have a large tractor with 5 foot PTO driven rough cut mower that can handle deep overgrown areas. We also utilize powerful commercial grade trimmers and brush cutters to tackle overgrowth around buildings and areas that are inaccessible with the tractor.

TJK uses a premium granular product which is obtained locally and designed to replace the nutrients that are missing from the soil in our part of the world. Our program includes 4 applications per season: early spring, 2 summer applications and a fall application. We choose to use a granular product as it will continuously feed your lawn for up to 1 month.

Our spring mix application gives your lawn a boost allowing it to green up and get some growth right away preparing it for the hot dry months. The summer applications deliver balanced nutrition throughout the growing season. Our fall application targets the root systems strengthening the lawn in preparation for the winter months.

A regular fertilizer program will help keep your lawn very green and thick allowing it to withstand the dry hot periods we experience in July and August. A thicker lawn will also help choke out unwanted weeds.

TJK offers liquid weed control applications to help keep the weeds at bay. 3 – 4 applications per season will ensure the weeds in the lawn are kept to a minimum and in most cases disappear completely.
